sounding brand new as well as being an uncovered gem, Back On Time is a release that anybody interested in the progression of dance music should be very curious to hear and enjoy. pre-orders are being taken now at the Ninjashop

Parker – DJ & Producer

first starting his rise “smashing chumps via DJ battles“, Bristol’s Parker soon turned his hand to production, gaining “lofty comparisons to the marvelous RJD2“. the luscious beats and driving funk of his To Eternity LP garnered rave reviews and wide critical acclaim. lead single Sugar Coated was MTV playlisted, while Western Soul, featuring San Francisco legend, Rasco, “devastated” dance floors. proving he was no flash in the pan, Parker followed the album with a series of club-rocking bangers, finding homes at such labels as Bombstrikes, Goodgroove, and Jalapeno

for a taster of his more recent work, here’s track, Dr Dr, uploaded to Soundcloud by Parker 12 days ago

and this is Parker’s funky breaks and hip-hop mix, titled The Monkey Butler Did It, from a few months back (d/l it for free here)

always one for “combining a cheeky sense of humour with a keen ear for a record-defining sample” (I-DJ Magazine) who knows what style he’ll be running next. Parker, “your friendly neighbourhood beatsmith”
