here we have five beautifully performed renditions of Jazz classics familiar to many and well worthy of re-recording (despite being covered a million trillion times previously) by vocalist Élodie Rama and this group of accomplished French musicians known as Blue Apple Quartet

  1. there is Nature Boy written by Eden Ahdez and made famous by Nat King Cole
  2. Cheek To Cheek penned by Irving Berlin and know to the world as sung by Ella Fitzgerald
  3. Don’t Explain written and obviously first performed by Billie Holiday
  4. It Don’t Mean A Thing composed and performed by Duke Ellington with lyrics by Irving Mills
  5. and lastly the most modern piece, Miss Celie’s Blues from Rod Temperton, Lionel Richie and Quincy Jones
