The mix is a collection of songs that the two have been enjoying recently, beginning with new Texan blues star Gary Clark Jr’s ‘Bright Lights’ and Sonny Boy Williamson II’s ‘Bring It On Home’, which you’ll remember from the Mulholland Drive soundtrack. From there it’s onto a Kills take on a Jonathan Fire*Eater song, ‘The Search for Cherry Red’, some classic rock’n’roll, including the monster Monterey Pop performance of ‘Ball & Chain’ by Big Brother & The Holding Company and even a surprising spot of UK blubstep. They finish with a gem: This Mortal Coil’s ‘Song To The Siren’. Get stuck in.“.
